AceShowbiz - Kanye West apparently attempted to avoid the spotlight in a new outing in Beverly Hills. On Tuesday, July 9, the "Vultures" rapper was pictured covering his face when he stepped out solo without his wife Bianca Censori.
During the out and about, the 47-year-old embattled star was photographed heading to his Cybertruck. He seemingly tried to go incognito as he used his white hooded jacket to shield his face.
The Chicago star, who went all-white that day, further covered his face with a pair of black sunglasses. He completed his look with black shoes.
The sighting came after Ye announced his retirement from "professional music." Making the revelation was Rich the Kid, who shared Monday a screenshot of his Instagram DM exchanges with the Yeezy designer.
In the now-deleted photo, the former husband of Kim Kardashian told Rich the Kid, "I am retiring from professional music." As for the reason, Ye claimed it's because he's "not sure what else to do" as far as music goes.
Rich the Kid unsurprisingly tried to make Ye change his mind. "Retire? Why? How? The ppl NEED you the music you & Ty & we have made was the BIGGEST STAMP in culture to this date in 2024," Ye's frequent collaborator said. "Drop Ye about mine & V@ and we do it all over again the kids need you big bra fasho maybe some time to chill but retiring ain't it."
Shortly after sharing the shocking screenshot, Rich the Kid revealed on X, formerly Twitter, that he's dropping a new album, "Life's a Gamble", which will feature Ye. "ACTUALLY WE DROPPING FRIDAY [laughing and crying emojis] 7/19," he wrote.
The forthcoming set will have Rich the Kid collaborating with Ye on a song titled "Plain Jane". It also includes the already-released single "Gimme a Second 2" featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Peso Pluma. There's also "Carnival" with Playboi Carti and Ty that was featured on the latter's collaborative "Vultures 1" album with Ye.
