AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake appeared to be selling "mega-cheap" tour tickets following his legal problem. Less than one month after being arrested for driving while intoxicated, the "Can't Stop the Feeling!" hitmaker reportedly was forced to slash his tour ticket prices.
On Wednesday, July 10, The U.S. Sun claimed that the 43-year-old NSYNC singer "appeared to have significantly reduced the cost of a ticket with the cheapest currently going for an astonishing low of $9." The cheap ticket was for his show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky that is a part of his "Forget Tomorrow World Tour".
The media outlet noted, "The flop tour has failed to sell out any major arena in the U.S. with tickets originally being priced at over $100." It also suggested that Justin has been facing "tour struggles combined with the lack of commercial success" for his latest album titled "Everything I Thought I Was", which was launched through RCA Records on March 15.
In the meantime, Justin's friends reportedly thought that the singer should prioritize his health over the success of his tour. An informant spilled to the outlet, "Justin's friends want him to take another extended break from music to focus on his health and wellbeing." The informant continued, "He has felt intense pressure to compete with touring juggernauts like Beyonce Knowles and Taylor Swift - and his tour has barely sold in comparison."
On Tuesday, July 9, a social media user revealed that tickets for Justin's tour were as low as $12. Making use of X, formerly known as Twitter, the user shared, "$12 tickets to see Justin Timberlake tonight at Rupp Arena but you better hurry. #PaysToWait."
Meanwhile, another X user replied, "That arena always seems to have cheap shows. Even for Drake & J. Cole back in the spring, one of the cheapest ones. Also I saw JT this past Thursday in Hershey park for Independence Day, very cheap tix for that."
The low ticket prices for "Forget Tomorrow World Tour" came a few weeks after Justin was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Sag Harbor, New York. The June 18 arrest involved failing to stop at a stop sign and swerving across lanes in his 2025 BMW.
