The said photos were included in a July 4 dump that the 22-year-old uploaded on Instagram. One snap saw the Grammy winner taking a mirror selfie with her friend. In it, she held her arm up and a round bruise was visible.
In another image, Billie posed with her arms crossed as she displayed two rings indented on her skin. The "Happier Than Ever" songstress simply captioned the carousel with two firework emojis.
Many have since reacted to the post. "Wait are those bite marks?" a user commented on Instagram. "Is she...okay??? Those bite marks look nasty," another questioned. "Explain the bites?" someone else demanded.
Billie shared the post after Jack Antonoff, who's Taylor Swift's BFF, allegedly took a swipe at her. Fans speculated that the record producer's recent comment about not finding inspiration in simple topics like lunch may be directed at Billie's song "Lunch."
The tensions between Billie and Taylor's fandoms stem from an interview in which the former criticized artists who put out multiple versions of albums.
