The former professional tennis player, who is also from Compton like K-Dot, speaks highly of the diss track aimed at her ex Drake when speaking at a panel at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans.

AceShowbiz - Serena Williams loves Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us". When gushing over K-Dot's diss track aimed at her ex, Drake, the professional tennis player described it as the "hit of the summer."

The 42-year-old made the comment when speaking at a panel at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans on Saturday, July 6. "I love that song. It's like the hit of the summer. When they play that jam, I'm jamming," she said. "That jam is jamming."

The Compton native went on to confirm that she does in fact Crip walk "all the time," especially to "Not Like Us". She shared, "You definitely Crip walking in that song. It's so cool what he did though. Bringing everyone to the stage? That was incredible … I couldn't believe it."

Drake famously dissed Serena and her husband, "Alexis Ohanian" on his "Her Loss" track, "Middle of the Ocean". He raps, "Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/ He claim we don't got a problem but/ No, boo, it is like you comin' for sushi/ We might pop up on 'em at will like Suzuki."

Kendrick has defended the athlete though. On "Not Like Us", the 17-time Grammy winner spits, "From Alondra down to Central/ n***as better not speak on Serena."

Aside from Kendrick, Serena also received support from fellow tennis athletes. Four-time Grand Slam title champion Naomi Osaka said of K-Dot and Drizzy's feud, "Kendrick dropped some heat... That last song is amazing, and I played it while walking onto the court."

Coco Gauff also declared that she's team Kendrick. "To be honest, I liked Kendrick's songs more. And I think pretty much everyone I know is leaning towards him. But I do like Drake as an artist as well. But as far as the rap battle is going on, the rap beef, I think definitely Kendrick's winning. Also, Drake dissed Serena [Williams] so I have to go with Kendrick. Kendrick defended her, so yeah, I have to go with him," Coco stated.
