AceShowbiz - Kandi Burruss remains supportive for Kenya Moore. In a new interview, the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star doubled on her defense for Kenya, who was recently announced to be departing from the Bravo show.

"The show is wild, right? We've had some crazy things happen on our show," Kandi said during her appearance on Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast while discussing Kenya's controversy. The former Miss USA was suspended and subsequently fired for allegedly sharing explicit images of newbie Brittany Eady.

Kandi continued, "And a lot of people are like, 'How can you support that?' And I'm like, at the end of the day, she didn't make up anything about somebody. Now she pulled some unfavorable receipts offline, which may not have been the nicest thing to do."

It was previously reported that Kenya shocked party attendees at her salon grand opening by showing posters of Bravo rookie Brittany allegedly performing oral sex. According to an insider, the pics in question were "readily accessible" online. The source also claimed that Brittany threatened Kenya, using the word "gun," prior to the event.

However, a production source denied the claims. "At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production," the informant said.

Meanwhile, Kandi's statement came after it was reported that Kenya wouldn't return for season 16 of "RHOA" following the sex poster controversy. "Kenya is not returning to RHOA this season. She decided it was best for herself to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated," a source shared with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, June 25.

Kenya later vaguely addressed her exit on X, writing, "You are the best fans anyone could ever ask for. and I love you all so very much. Always and forever." She added "#TeamTwirlForever," referring to her fanbase.
