On November 26, Todd Tucker submitted his official response to Kandi Burruss’ divorce petition. In his court documents, Todd stated that their two children, Ace (born in 2016) and Blaze (born in 2019), currently live with him in Georgia, while Kandi spends significant time away due to her out-of-state work commitments.

Todd, 52, requested the court award him primary physical custody, joint legal custody, and the authority to make final decisions regarding the children’s welfare. His filing stressed the couple’s ongoing efforts to cooperate, noting, “The parties have been working cooperatively in an effort to resolve all issues, and [Tucker] remains committed to continuing those discussions in good faith.”

Todd Tucker’s attorney acknowledged Kandi Burruss as a devoted and competent mother, emphasizing his client’s desire for Kandi to maintain substantial and meaningful access to their children. The filing highlighted the hope that continued discussions would lead to a full resolution of all outstanding matters.

However, the custody battle is only one aspect of their dispute. Todd challenged the couple’s 2014 prenuptial agreement, admitting he signed it but alleging he was pressured into doing so without legal counsel present. According to his filing, the agreement was presented to him immediately before the wedding ceremony, without an attorney available, raising questions about its enforceability. He asked the court to order a division of all marital assets and alimony if the prenup is deemed invalid.

In response, Kandi Burruss filed several motions aiming to keep their divorce proceedings sealed from the public eye.
