The actor reprises his role as the Man Without Fear in the upcoming animated MCU prequel series following a teenage Peter Parker's journey to becoming Spider-Man.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Cox is set to reprise his role as Daredevil in Marvel Studios' "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", an animated series that serves as a prequel to the MCU's Spider-Man movies. Cox previously played the character in the Netflix series "Daredevil" and made a cameo as Matt Murdock in "Spider-Man: No Way Home".

In "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", Daredevil will appear in his black suit and interact with Peter Parker before the events of "Captain America: Civil War". Jeff Trammell, executive producer and head writer of the series, confirmed that other characters from the Marvel universe will also appear, including Nico Minoru (Runaways), Harry and Norman Osborne (both depicted as Black characters), Dr. Otto Octavius (Doctor Octopus), Chameleon, Scorpion, Tarantula, the Rhino, and Dr. Bentley Wittman (voiced by Paul F. Tompkins).

Cox expressed excitement about the role, stating that he has already recorded voiceover for the series. He noted that the story is set in an alternate version of the MCU, with Norman Osborn mentoring the 15-year-old Peter Parker instead of Tony Stark.

"It's cool that [Daredevil's] in it. I'm excited about it," Cox said. "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" is expected to premiere later in 2024 on Disney+. It has already been greenlit for a second season, titled "Spider-Man: Sophomore Year".
