Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs has been arrested and charged with domestic violence and burglary, just weeks after being charged with animal cruelty.

AceShowbiz - According to multiple reports, Isaiah Buggs was booked into Tuscaloosa County Jail in Alabama on June 16 after police responded to an emergency call. He was released on $5,000 bond the same day. The Athletic reports that officers responded to the call at 5:28 a.m., but further details about the charges have not been released.
The Chiefs have acknowledged Buggs' arrest but declined to comment. The NFL Network reports Buggs' agent, Trey Robinson, has denied his client's involvement in the domestic violence and burglary incidents. Robinson also previously denied Buggs' involvement in the animal cruelty case, claiming the dogs in question were not his and that he was unaware of their presence on the property he was renting.
Robinson has accused the City of Tuscaloosa and its Police Department of targeting Buggs and attempting to force the closure of his hookah lounge in Alabama. He alleges that Buggs was arrested for misdemeanor charges at the lounge on two separate occasions, but no public record exists of those arrests.
In May, warrants were obtained for Buggs' arrest on animal cruelty charges after two severely malnourished dogs were found in a home he was renting. Buggs turned himself in and was released on $600 bond. Robinson claimed the allegations were part of a "concerted effort" to damage Buggs' reputation and his business.
Buggs is not the only Chiefs player facing legal issues. Receiver Rashee Rice has been charged with eight felonies related to a street-racing incident and recently allegedly struck a photographer at a nightclub. The Chiefs concluded their minicamp last week and will resume training camp on July 23.
