In addition to recounting his meeting with Priscilla, the 2011 'American Idol' winner also reflects on his successful music career and why he has no desire to judge the show.

AceShowbiz - During an appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show", Scotty McCreery recounted meeting Priscilla Presley backstage at "American Idol". When asked about his favorite performance on the show, McCreery recalled singing "That's All Right, Mama" by Elvis Presley.

"I love that guy, but the kicker was that Priscilla was there at the show, and I got to talk with her between commercial breaks," McCreery said. "She looked at me and said, 'Scotty, can I tell you something?' "

Presley, now 79, extended a heartfelt compliment: "Elvis would've loved you." McCreery exclaimed, "Oh my God. I had to sing after that! But that was the best compliment I've ever received."

Reflecting on his journey since winning "American Idol" at age 16, McCreery expressed his gratitude. "I think if somebody would've told me back then that 13 years later I'd still be doing this, I would've taken that deal in a heartbeat," he said.

However, despite his appreciation for the show, McCreery revealed he has no desire to judge. "I don't want to do that. I know what it feels like being on the stage, being judged. I don't want to put that on somebody else," he explained.

McCreery's latest album, "Rise & Fall," reflects his growth both personally and professionally. "I'm not sure I've ever been at a more thankful place," he said. "I'm just enjoying where I'm at, and I think making this record, I allowed myself to try new things."
