The executive producer of the popular Netflix series hints at what fans can expect from the final episodes of the latest season, admitting that she was brought to tears when watching the finale.

AceShowbiz - Executive producer Shonda Rhimes has given fans a tantalizing glimpse into the highly anticipated second part of "Bridgerton" season 3. During an appearance on the "Today" show, Rhimes revealed that the final episodes will be "sexy and surprising in many ways."
Rhimes also admitted to shedding tears while watching the end of the season. "I found it very moving," she said. "I don't always cry, so I really got into it. I think it's a beautiful story."
Season 3 focuses on the friends-to-lovers storyline between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). In the first part, which premiered in May, viewers witnessed the slow shift in their dynamic as Colin confessed his feelings for Penelope.
Coughlan has expressed her excitement for the upcoming episodes, particularly the "giddy" and "blissfully happy" moments between Colin and Penelope.
The cast of "Bridgerton" season 3, part 2 includes Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Hannah Dodd, Claudia Jessie, Jessica Madsen, Luke Thompson, Martins Imhangbe, Emma Naomi, Hannah New, Sam Phillips, Ruth Gemmell, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley.
Netflix has split up the new season into two parts, with the first part dropping in May and the final four episodes arriving on June 13. Rhimes, however, assures fans that season 3, part 2 will be worth the wait, saying, "It's a beautiful story."
