AceShowbiz - Rylo Huncho's family is in deep grief after his tragic passing. The 17-year-old rapper was found dead with a self-inflicted gun wound to the head in what seemed to be a freak accident last week, leaving a big question to his family.
In a GoFundMe account set up by his family, Rylo's niece Diane Bryant revealed that the teen was an only son and only child of her aunt. "He was her only son ! She was a single parent but took care of her son the best she could," Diane wrote. "Suicide/accidental was the cause of his death we are still trying to figure out why."
"He was her only child. She was also an only child. It was always her and her son," the description on the page went on to state. "Anything can help! Please keep my family in your prayers. Thank you so much."
As of late Tuesday, May 21, the crowdfunding page has brought in more than $4k of its $15k goal.
Rylo is believed to have killed himself after he accidentally shot himself in the head in Suffolk, Virginia last week. A spokesperson for the Suffolk PD confirmed to Billboard on Tuesday morning that the incident occurred on May 15 around 10 P.M. that "resulted in the death of a juvenile age 17" involving a "self-inflicted gunshot wound," but refused to name the deceased.
Officials are investigating the incident as an accident, but the spokesperson said officials are not releasing full details for now because self-inflicted gunshot wounds could also be considered an act of suicide.
In footage of the incident, Rylo was dancing with a handgun with a green laser sight on it. "F**k y'all, n***as," he said to the camera before he pointed the gun at his forehead and appeared to have accidentally pulled the trigger, leading to a loud bang as the video feed suddenly became shaky. The MC was transported to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The then released his latest single "Getta's" earlier this month, the follow-up to previous singles "Money Getta", "DOA" and "La la la".
