Kate's designer friend Amaia Arrieta expresses her concerns for the royal couple and their family, who are 'going through hell' following Kate's cancer diagnosis.

AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton and Prince William are facing a difficult time amid the Princess of Wales' cancer battle. Their designer friend, Amaia Arrieta, said the couple is "going through hell."
Arrieta has worked with the royal couple for over a decade, styling their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. She said she is "heartbroken" by Kate's diagnosis.
"I hope they will be back," Arrieta told The Telegraph. "It's really personal."
Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March, saying she had undergone major abdominal surgery but that tests after the operation found cancer. She is now undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy.
The couple has kept the details of Kate's diagnosis private, but William has said that she and their children are "doing well."
Arrieta said seeing the royal children in her designs brings her "so much pride," but it's difficult to enjoy given what the couple is going through. "I really do care about how they look," Arrieta said. "I'm heartbroken at the moment."
Kate has also shared that her medical team advised her to undergo preventative chemotherapy and that she is now in the early stages of that treatment.
In her statement, Kate also shared why the couple decided to wait to tell their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6, about her cancer diagnosis.
"As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louie in a way that's appropriate for them and to reassure them that I'm going to be OK," she shared in the announcement.
"As I said to them, I am well, and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal in my mind, body, and spirits. Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance, too, as is the love, support, and kindness that has been shown by so many of you."
