AceShowbiz - Vanessa Lachey (Vanessa Minnillo) has broken her silence after CBS announced that "NCIS: Hawai'i" was canceled after 3 seasons. The actress, who played Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant on the series, took to Instagram to share that she's gutted by the decision.

"Gutted, confused, blindsided," Vanessa, who made history by being the first female lead who is also a woman of color in the "NCIS" franchise, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 27. "Grateful, confident, beloved fans!"

The star went on to say, "Processing this news and still being present with my family. I love you all! Maholo Nui Loa."

She later posted a selfie with her young daughter as she wore Mickey ears with glittery letters NCIS glued to them. "Trying to explain this news to my daughter… and she makes me Mickey ears so I can 'smile,' " so the actress wrote in the caption. "This decision was bigger than a TV show."
