Prince William Enjoys Outings With Prince George and Kate Middleton's Mom Amid Wife's Cancer Battle

The outings with his son and mother-in-law aside, the Prince of Wales recently made a social media return since his wife announced her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

AceShowbiz - Prince William was seen bonding with son Prince George. The Prince of Wales took his son to Aston Villa's UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/24 Quarter-final first leg match against Lille OSC at Aston, Birmingham's Villa Park Thursday night, April 12.

In some pictures circulating online, the father and son duo could be seen looking excited while watching the game. The two, who were twinning in navy outfits, also clapped to celebrate Aston's Ollie Watkins scoring the night's first goal.

Despite the occasion, both William and George opted for a formal look in button-down shirts and sweaters. They made it clear that they were rooting for Aston as the 10-year-old boy had an Aston Villa scarf around his neck.

That aside, Prince William reportedly hit a pub with his wife Kate Middleton's mom Carole. According to Daily Mail, the 41-year-old prince and his mother-in-law grabbed a drink at a local pub.

"It was all very low-key with no great fanfare. He just walked in and through the pub. He appeared to be with Carole Middleton," columnist Richard Eden quoted a patron in the Wednesday, April 10 report. "There was no sign of Catherine, who is being treated for an undisclosed form of cancer."

It was said that Carole and her husband Michael Middleton have been staying with the Cambridges at their Anmer Hall estate in Norfolk since Easter as Kate undergoes a round of chemotherapy. Kate's parents help William look after the royal's three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Recently, Prince William made a social media return since Kate announced her cancer diagnosis. On April 10, the 41-year-old quote-retweeted soccer player Rachel Daly's post that read, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." In his message, the royal penned on the official Kensington Royal account, "Thank you for so many unforgettable performances with @Lionesses, @RachelDaly3. Plenty more goals for Villa now!"
