The 'Whiskey Glasses' hitmaker is allegedly 'crushed' after his former fiancee tied the knot with her fiance Luke Scornavacco, which culminated in the chair-throwing incident.

AceShowbiz - Morgan Wallen's latest outburst was allegedly triggered by jealousy and heartbreak. The country music singer has allegedly been upset by his ex-fiancee KT Smith's secret elopement with Luke Scornavacco a few days ago, which culminated in the chair-throwing incident on Sunday night, April 7.

"KT's marriage to Luke last week just crushed him," sources told Daily Mail on Monday. "Of course he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married - but eloping just days after they got engaged?"

"Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn't stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son," the source added. "Whatever happened at that bar had to be reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life."

Morgan was arrested on Sunday night after throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief's Bar in Nashville, with officers claiming the chair landed three feet from them. Witnesses said that the singer/songwriter was laughing after throwing the chair, as a video of the incident has been released by TMZ.

The 30-year-old star was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct. He showed no remorse in his mug shot, grinning while he was in custody. He was released on a $15,250 bond.

Morgan's pal Ernest Keith Smith has also seemingly played down his arrest. Ernest, who is also a singer, poked fun at the former "The Voice" contestant's antics by making a joke referencing to the "chair" that Morgan threw from the sixth story of the bar.

In an Instagram video, Ernest filmed himself in the driver's seat as he drove while captioning the clip, "Alexa, play 'The Chair' by George Strait." He added in a text written over the video, "When Morgan asks me if I wanna go to Broadway."

Despite what he said in the caption, Ernest's video was set to Lainey Wilson's song "I Would If I Could". On the song, she sings in the pre-chorus, "I would if I could/ But I can't, so I won't/ But I want to."
