The 'What Was I Made For?' songstress leaves social media users excited after treating them to a snippet of her upcoming third studio album and its teaser video.

AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish has made use of her social media page to tease her third studio album. The "What Was I Made For?" songstress surprised her devotees by sharing a snippet of her new music and its visualizer.

On Sunday, April 7, the 22-year-old songstress took to Instagram to upload a teaser video of her upcoming record. In the short clip, it could be seen that an unidentified person was getting drowned while in a dark blue ocean. The footage went on to show another mystery person trying to save the former.

In addition, Billie also set a snippet of the forthcoming record as the background music of the video. However, the recording did not feature her singing any verses from the album. Along with the footage, she asked her fans in the caption of the post, "Ready?"

It did not take long for the post to be flooded with online responses from Instagram users. In the comments section, one in particular voiced their excitement for the "Ocean Eyes" songstress' third studio album, "SO READY FOR THE DROWNING ERA." The comment received nearly 45 thousand likes in just four hours.

Meanwhile, another suggested, "THE WEBSITE IS DOWN SHE IS COMING." A third, in the meantime, gushed, "I already love this tune." Similarly, a fourth exclaimed, "She's making history again."

The post came less than two months after Billie shared an exciting update on the new album. On February 21, she appeared to have hinted that she may release it soon. In the caption of her Instagram post, she simply wrote, "My album is mastered."

Previously, Billie talked about the creative process for the third studio album. On Dua Lipa's "At Your Service" podcast in August 2023, she stated, "Everything is different about it. I've been trying to compare recently, just because I'm getting used to doing it in a different way. And trying to be like, 'It's OK to do that. I'm OK. I'm still able to do that; I'm capable still.' "

The album will be a follow-up to the "When the Party's Over" singer's sophomore set titled "Happier Than Ever", which was dropped in the summer of 2021. She unleashed her debut record titled "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" in 2019.
