Being a big fan of the 'American Horror Story' star, the 'Son of a Sinner' singer interrupts the actress when she's posing for photographers next to him and his wife Bunnie Xo.

AceShowbiz - Jelly Roll has fangirled over Emma Roberts at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. The singer could not hide his excitement to meet his favorite celebrity when they ran into each other on the red carper of the 23rd edition of the awards ceremony.

On Sunday, April 7, both Jelly and Emma attended the show held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. They happened to hit the red carpet at the same time, much to the country music star's pleasure.

While being joined by his wife Bunnie Xo, the "Need a Favor" crooner did not hesitate to show his love for the actress, who was posing for photographers. "Emma Roberts," he shouted at the "Scream Queens" alum, who coolly replied, "Hey!"

Bunnie seemingly apologized to Emma for her husband's behavior but that didn't stop him from trying to get her attention. "Hi," he said again to Emma, who didn't seem to be disturbed and continued to strike poses. The 39-year-old musician continued, "You're the only person I asked to meet. Literally, I swear. I'm Jelly Roll. I make music. I'm sorry I'm f**king you up. I'll do it off the carpet."

Prior to their interaction on the red carpet, Jelly had made it his mission to get a picture with Emma at the CMT Awards upon knowing that she would attend the show. In behind-the-scenes footage shared online one day prior, Bunnie was interviewing her husband who was checking out the seating chart.

"Emma Roberts, dude? Hey, did you see? Did you see Emma Roberts?" Bunny asked his wife after seeing Emma's photo plastered on a chair. "Yes. That's amazing," she responded, before he stated, "We gotta get a picture. I'm going to ask Hamlin now."

Before arriving in Austin, Jelly and Bunnie had a mid-air scare en route to CMT Awards. Their private jet experienced a malfuntion on Thursday, forcing them to make an emergency landing. In a video shared on TikTok, Bunnie captured their reaction to the incident.

As the jet halted mid-air, she was visibly shocked, mouthing, "What the f**k?" The situation caused panic among the group, but Bunnie remained relatively composed, saying, "We die, we die." Bunnie later updated fans, saying they landed safely but may need to return to the same plane.

Jelly was billed as a performer at the 2024 CMT Awards and nominated for three awards, including Male Video of the Year.
