AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have reached a divorce settlement. The settlement arrives eight months after the "Modern Family" alum and the "Magic Mike" actor announced their split.
Obtained by PEOPLE, court documents revealed that the former couple agreed to divide their assets per their prenuptial agreement. Joe will walk away with all of his personal assets, including clothing, jewelry as well as "earnings and accumulations" he's incurred since their July 2 separation.
As for Sofia, the "America's Got Talent" judge will keep all her own jewelry, clothing and personal belongings. She's also able to have her own earnings she's accumulated post-split.
The exes didn't share "any community property" during their marriage.
Sofia and Joe announced their split in a joint statement on July 17. "We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the pair wrote at the time. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives." Joe filed for divorce two days later, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Sofia addressed their divorce in an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais published on January 24. "My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn't want to be an old mom," the "Griselda" star shared. "I feel it's not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore."
Sofia noted that she "had a son at 19, who is now 32," referring to her son Manolo whom she shares with first ex-husband Joe Gonzales. She added, "I'm ready to be a grandmother, not a mother."
Following their separation, Joe debuted a new romance with actress Caitlin O'Connor while attending the Children of Armenia Fund Gala at Cipriani in New York City on December 9. For the event, Joe donned a black suit while Caitlin sported an emerald green corset gown. They packed on PDA while wrapping their arms around each other's waists while posing in front of cameras on the red carpet.
