AceShowbiz - Serena Williams was not shy to embrace her postpartum body following the birth of her second child. Around eight months after welcoming her baby No. 2, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion confidently posed in a figure-hugging dress.
On Thursday, April 4, the 42-year-old athlete treated social media users to a series of pictures from her photo session with WWD magazine. In the snaps, it could be seen that she was striking a number of poses in what appeared to be a backyard.
In one of the photos, Serena was standing in front of the camera and looking straight at it. Without doing any complex poses, she flashed her radiant smile. Another picture in the same post captured her placing both of her hands on her waist while giving a stern facial expression.
For the photoshoot, Serena showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a light-colored bodysuit that came with no sleeves. Over the one-piece, she rocked an asymmetrical black mini dress, which featured a halter neck design and a sleeve.
The professional tennis player kept her accessories minimal by rocking a bracelet and a pair of sparkling earrings. She looked fresh with orange blush on her cheeks, glossy lipstick and long lashes. In addition, her long blonde tresses cascaded down her back. She styled them in waves and parted them in the middle.
Furthermore, Serena, who announced in August 2023 that she and her husband Alexis Ohanian have welcomed their second child, polished her fingernails in a vibrant color. Along with the photos, she wrote in the caption of the post, "Beauty for everyday people living their everyday lives. How exciting! @wyn."
The post came after Serena launched her new makeup line WYN Beauty. On Wednesday, April 3, she hosted an event at Bathhouse Studios in Manhattan to launch products from the beauty brand. For the special occasion, she sported a skin-tight light green dress featuring a stylish strap and a pair of pointed-toe white high heels.
