The 60-year-old comic is scheduled to make guest appearance on the NBC late-night talk show, which he briefly hosted from 2009 to 2010, on April 9 to promote his new travelogue series.

AceShowbiz - After a highly publicized departure from "The Tonight Show" in 2010, Conan O'Brien is set to make his first guest appearance on the show on April 9. The comedian will join Jimmy Fallon to promote his new travelogue series, "Conan O'Brien Must Go".

O'Brien hosted "The Tonight Show" for six months between June 2009 and January 2010, after which he was replaced by returning host Jay Leno. Since his exit, O'Brien has hosted his own late-night show on TBS, "CONAN", which ended in 2021.

"Conan O'Brien Must Go" marks O'Brien's first television project since the end of "CONAN" and follows the comedian as he visits new friends he met through his podcast, "Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan". The travelogue stops at destinations including Norway, Thailand, Argentina and Ireland.

O'Brien's return to "The Tonight Show" comes after Jimmy Fallon has welcomed back several former NBC personalities, including Joan Rivers in 2014. O'Brien previously made a pre-recorded appearance on the show in 2018 with Stephen Colbert.

Joining O'Brien in the April 9 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" are guests Nicole Richie and musical performer Benson Boone.
