Making use of social media, the 'Without Remorse' actress pays a heart-warming tribute to her late boyfriend by uploading a throwback picture of the hip-hop artist.

AceShowbiz - On Sunday, March 31, actress Lauren London took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late boyfriend, rapper Nipsey Hussle, on the fifth anniversary of his death. "If you know me, you know March is always tough for me," London wrote, sharing a portrait of Hussle. "31 days of holding my breath."

London's loved ones expressed their support in the comments section, with La La Anthony and Sarunas J. Jackson sending messages of love.

Hussle was fatally shot outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019, at age 33. Eric Holder Jr. was found guilty of first-degree murder in July 2022 and sentenced to at least 60 years in prison.

London shared her thoughts on the day coinciding with Easter Sunday, considering Hussle's name #GodWillRise. "Energy never dies... I love you," she wrote. "Eternal."

Hussle and London had been together since 2013 and welcomed a son, Kross, in 2016. London has previously spoken about missing Hussle, telling PEOPLE she experiences "the feeling of there's one person you wished was here to watch the movie with you."

Despite her loss, London said she makes a choice every day to show up in life with intention and gentleness. "I think if you make the choice and that you're intentional with how you would like to show up in life, it could be more gentle than harsh," she said.

In 2022, Hussle received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on what would have been his 37th birthday. At the ceremony, London spoke about his legacy and encouraged others to break away from obstacles and pursue their dreams.

"I think I speak for the entire city of L.A. when I say that we've always known Hussle was destined for greatness," London said. "This moment only amplifies this for us... So whenever you're in the City of Angels and you see this star, I hope it encourages you to break away from whatever might be holding you back and for you to run your marathon until God says that it's finished."
