AceShowbiz - Waka Flocka Flame is burying his past. Having moved on with his new girlfriend Big MeL, the hip-hop star has seemingly put his past romantic relationship with Tammy Rivera behind by covering up a tattoo tribute to her.
On Saturday, March 23, the 37-year-old took to his Instagram page to upload a slew of new photos. One of the snaps gave a very close-up look at his face, which was partially cut out and out of frame.
Another picture on the second slide was an image of his hands which are fully clad in tattoos. Interestingly, one of his fingers that used to have the tattoo of Tammy's name written vertically on it no longer features the said tribute to his estranged wife.
The "O Let's Do It" rhymer appeared to have covered up the old tattoo with a new one resembling a bamboo trunk with letter "A" as part of his elaborate tattoos that read, "HITSQUAD."
He wrote in the caption of the post, "They telling me i'm one of the Goats... Ima Icon.... Waka you Legend..." Seemingly bragging about his current romance, Waka added, "Just know life is f**king great right now!!"
Waka, born Juaquin James Malphurs, debuted his new hand tattoo following Tammy's alleged feud with his girlfriend Big MeL. Earlier this month, Tammy posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram Story which read, "No one can make me jealous over a seat I had first. You wouldn't be sitting there if I didn't get up."
Seemingly being offended, Big MeL shared on her own Story a quote from @gabbyrellaa that read, "Being washed up and can't let go of your past is type crazy." She added in the caption, "This is the one, cuz it's giving jealous and bitter."
Tammy, however, later denied that she was shading his ex's current boo. "Man I'm just waking up it's 9am over where I'm at. Waka we literally just talked about this this last night (your morning) ..Waka get her please for I hurt this lil girl feelings. Oh btw that post wasn't even about him nor you but hit dogs holla. You f'king up your seat Sh ein Tammy," she commented on The Neighborhood Talk's post after the account shared a screenshot of Big MeL's Story.
She also insisted that she "respects" her ex's new relationship with Big MeL. "I'm more annoyed he got this girl thinking I still want him or painting the picture to the world like I still want him when he knows damn well that's not the case," so the entrepreneur claimed.
Around the same time, Tammy debuted a new ink that covers a Waka tattoo tribute. The new tattoo, which is bigger and seemingly an abstract design, sits on her older ink which spelled "Juaquin" on her shoulder.
