AceShowbiz - Meryl Streep and Martin Short have continued adding fuel to their romance rumors. After he shut down speculations suggesting that they are dating, the two "Only Murders in the Building" stars had a fun night out.

In pictures making their rounds online on Thursday, February 22, it could be seen that the 73-year-old actor and the 74-year-old actress were grabbing dinner together. The two were spotted out and about in California one day prior.

At that time, Meryl and Martin were caught on camera making their way out of restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. The two artists were not by themselves. Instead, they were joined by a group of friends.

One of the photos captured Meryl walking close in front of Martin as they left the trendy restaurant. Another picture saw the two seemingly walking side-by-side. They appeared to have had a blast throughout the night as they were photographed flashing their radiant big smiles in all of the snaps.

For the outing, the "Mamma Mia!" star looked chic in a long-sleeved pink button-up shirt and a pair of black pants. She also put on a dark red jacket to keep her body warm. In addition, she accessorized herself with a pair of clear glasses as well as earrings and let loose her long hair.

In contrast, Martin opted to wear a black-and-gray outfit. The actor sported a dark gray top under a long-sleeved light gray sweatshirt that came with a zipper. He also rocked a black blazer that he wore unbuttoned and a pair of black trousers.

Meryl and Martin sparked romance rumors after they were caught together at the Golden Globe Awards in January. However, later that same month, he denied the speculations. During an appearance on the "Club Random" podcast, host Bill Maher referred to the two as a "power couple," prompting Martin to clarify, "We're not a couple. We are just very close friends."
