AceShowbiz - "90 Day Fiance: The Other Way" star Mary Denuccio has apologized after asking for financial support after being diagnosed with colon cancer, which turned out to be not true. The TLC star took to Instagram to apologize and clarify her statement.
"I just want to say sorry for everyone. I posted saying I have colon cancer. I made a mistake and im just a human im very sorry everyone," she wrote in Instagram Stories on Wednesday, February 21. "Because when the doctor told me I have colon issue I thought that means I have colon cancer. I got anxiety attack and I thought I have colon cancer and posted it without thinking."
While Mary admitted it was her fault and she's "very sorry about it," she asked people to "stop harassing me and wishing me to die." She added, "I'm just a human. I'm in pain right now and the pain won't go away. I kept throwing up and I feel so weak. The doctor says my liver is inflamed and I have blood infection, UTI and hemorrhoids. We are still waiting for another laboratory test for my colon."
"Again im very sorry I made a mistake announcing I have colon cancer. I just thought I have colon cancer because doctor said I have issue with my colon and they need to check it. I'm very sorry I panicked and I got anxiety," the 23-year-old reality star concluded.
Alongside her husband Brandan Denuccio, Mary first claimed that she had colon cancer in a post over the weekend. She additionally attempted to get fans donate funds for her upcoming medical costs as she's the "only one working in the family" by sharing a link to a fundraising page.
In the description, Mary said that she had to have a surgery due to her symptoms following her C-section over the summer to give birth to her and Brandan's daughter Midnight. According to her, the doctor told her the cancer needs to "be removed before it's too late."
Fans started to notice that something was off when the fundraising link stopped working on Monday, February 19. "GoGetFunding has been requested or required to stop this campaign," was written as the reason.
