AceShowbiz - Heather Rae Young has let the world know how close she is with Tarek El Moussa's daughter. Having received backlash for snubbing Taylor in a Valentine's Day post, the "Selling Sunset" star shared a photo of her and her "No. 1 gal."

The 36-year-old shared the picture on Instagram Story on Thursday, February 15. In the snap, the reality star could be seen hugging her 13-year-old stepdaughter.

"We close our ears to the pettiness. We strive for positivity only," Heather penned in the caption of the post. "My girl knows she's my #1 gal." The TV personality also uploaded a video of her and Tarek at Taylor's volleyball game, writing, "Go Tay!!! My forever Galentine."

On Wednesday, Heather let out a touching Valentine's Day post to her 1-year-old son, Tristan, her 8-year-old stepson, Brayden, and her husband. "Happy Valentine's day to my boys T, T & B. I have never felt so much love in my life. All 3 keep me on my toes but I wouldn't want it any other way," she gushed.

"I am so thankful to have you as my husband my best friend and my partner @therealtarekelmoussa," the luxury real estate agent, who married Tarek in October 2023, further raved. "You are my person, and the best daddy I could've ever asked for. I love you very much honey and I love you Tristan and Bray."

Many have since questioned why Heather did not include Taylor in the post. "you can wish a girl happy Valentines too. Sad to just say the male kids," one critic commented, while another asked, "Why no mention of Taylor? Genuinely asking!"

A third opined, "We all know a stepparent like this. You hate to see it, you hate to see their spouse enabling it." Someone else argued, "I cannot believe you chose to alienate Taylor on Valentines Day. That is SAD."
