AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has voiced her excitement for her new music project with Ariana Grande. The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hitmaker called it a "magical moment" to join the "Thank U, Next" songstress on "Yes, And?" remix.

On Wednesday, February 14, the 54-year-old songstress shared her thoughts on doing the remix of Ariana's latest single titled "Yes, And?". In the comments section of her and Ariana's new joint post on Instagram, she wrote, "Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you. MC," adding a red heart emoji.

Earlier that day, Ariana and Mariah made use of their Instagram pages to announce that they are collaborating to create the "Yes, And?" remix. In the joint post, the two artists uploaded a photo of them. Along with it, Ariana wrote in the caption, "I cannot believe the words i am typing ...... Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this friday !!!!!!!!!!!" adding a series of butterfly and heart emojis.

Ariana went on to say, "There truly are no words that suffice." She further voiced her appreciation for Mariah by writing, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey."

The "Rain on Me" singer additionally penned, "It means more to me than i could ever possibly articulate and i cannot wait for everyone to hear this !" She then concluded, "I love you eternally !!!!!!!"

The announcement of the "Yes, And?" remix came around one month after Ariana released the latest single. After dropping the track, she was met with backlash for responding to comments on her allegedly dating actor Ethan Slater before he split from his estranged wife Lilly Jay on the song. She was even labeled a "homewrecker" by many, including TV presenter Candace Owens. Candace also blasted Ariana over her "absolute filth" behavior.
