In a new episode of 'Today With Hoda and Jenna', the co-host of the TV program also reveals that she had 'a little impulse control issues' in the 'first year of driving.'

AceShowbiz - Jenna Bush Hager has blamed having no knowledge of black ice for a terrifying car accident. On "Today With Hoda & Jenna", the co-host of the TV program talked to her temporary co-host, Willie Geist, about her experience with driving.

Speaking to Willie, who was subbing in for Hoda Kotb, in the Thursday, February 8 episode of the show, the 42-year-old TV personality recalled the time she had a car crash. She said, "I got in one total wreck in my one driveway of late. But, no, I'm pretty good."

About how bad it was, Jenna stated, "Totaled the car. Total loss. Total loss as Henry [Hager] would like to say, total loss." On the reason behind the crash, she explained, "I had never heard of black ice. I didn't know what would happen. I hit it. I was going a little too fast, too, spun into a tree, that was it." She then assured, "I wasn't injured and we're fine."

In response, Willie shared that he once got into a car accident when he was driving his mother's car during his "senior year in high school." On what happened at that time, he recounted, "Wet leaves, fall, maybe I was going a little too fast, but not crazy, because we didn't get hurt. But I skidded and we totaled my mom's car... into a tree."

In the same episode, Jenna candidly admitted that she had "a little impulse control issues" in the past. She elaborated, "My first year of driving, I had a little impulse control issues. My brain developed a little later. So I would just put it on, get in the car, speed back, without ever looking back."

While making a reference to her twin sister named Barbara Bush, the co-host continued, "So Barbara and I, and I'm not 100% sure this is the perfect number, but I'm pretty sure the two of us together got in 13 accidents." She also noted that they were "minor, minor fender benders," and some of them "didn't even require work done."
