AceShowbiz - Ice Spice couldn't help but feel excited after meeting Beyonce Knowles. The "Barbie World" raptress took to her X account to share her feelings after the encounter at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

"Just met beyonce im never goin to fail," the "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" hitmaker wrote on the app, which was previously known as Twitter. Upon catching wind of Ice Spice's post, Internet users had mixed responses.

Some people trolled Ice Spice for feeling excited after meeting the "Cuff It" singer even after her husband Jay-Z shaded Ice Spice and other musicians during his speech. "baby she didn't want to meet you Her husband shaded you chileeee," one person wrote in an Instagram comment. "Jayz was talking about her," someone else echoed the sentiment, with one asking, "Who going tell her."

Some others, meanwhile, talked about how the tweet would get Ice Spice on Nicki Minaj's bad side. "Nicki gone cuss her out when she get home ……," one fan said. Similarly, one person added, "Nicki gonna rant about her for the next 3 days …." Someone was additionally convinced that Ice Spice's "Barbie World" collaborator "finna unfollow her."

There were also people who thought Ice Spice's tweet was exaggerated. "Beyonce is not God what is these people problem people be on groupie time," a user said. One other, meanwhile, stressed that the "Renaissance" artist doesn't have anything to do with anyone's career, saying, "Just because you met Beyonce doesn't mean u cured from failing… it all comes on you."

Ice Spice's tweet came after Jay-Z called out the Recording Academy over Beyonce's repeated Album of the Year snubs. During his speech after being honored with Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, he said, "We want y'all to get it right. At least getting close to right. And obviously it's subjective. Y'all don't gotta clap at everything. Obviously it's subjective because, you know, it's music and it's opinion-based."

Hov explained, "But, you know, some things, I don't want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year," referring to Beyonce, who has been nominated for album of the year four times and never won despite her 32 wins in other categories. "So even by your own metrics, that doesn't work."

"Think about that. The most Grammys, never won album of the year. That doesn't work," the rapper added. He further elaborated, "You know, some of you gonna go home tonight and feel like you've been robbed. Some of you may get robbed. Some of you don't belong in a category. No, when I get nervous I tell the truth."

"Outside of that, you know, we got to keep showing up and forget the Grammys for a second," Jay-Z continnued. "Just in life. As my daughter just sits and stares at me, nervous as I am. Just in life, you got to keep showing up. Just keep showing up. Forget the Grammys you got to keep showing up until they give you all those accolades you feel you deserve. Until they call you Chairman, until they call you a genius until they call you the greatest of all time. You feel me?"
