AceShowbiz - Lil Yachty won't let backlash from Megan Thee Stallion fans stop him from releasing new music. Weeks after being attacked by Hotties, the Georgia-boorn emcee unleashed a new song called "A Cold Sunday" along with its music video.

In the AMD Visuals-directed MV, the 26-year-old is captured in five different frames from five different angles. He raps about weathering heartbreak and the fluctuating value of material possessions.

"I ran thirty million in the ground, baby, now I'm back up/ She a city girl, I'm the real reason that she act up," he spits early on the song. "She talk back, I make her pack up, send her home on Spirit/ Something in my spirit made me not believe I'm feared."

"A Cold Sunday" serves as Yachty's first solo release of 2024. In January, he appeared on collaborations with Faye Webster, Chief Keef and Kid Cudi. It's been just over a year since the rapper released his fifth studio album, "Let's Start Here".

On January 17, DontKallMeLuxxy and Yachty dropped a song called "Sydney", which makes light of Megan's shooting involving Tory Lanez. "Already made miles at Veneda/ She gon' think you a trick 'til you treat her/ That n***a always there, better watch where you step, get treated like Megan Thee Stallion," DontKallMeLuxxy spits in his verse.

Unpleased with the lyrics, one user on X (formerly Twitter) argued, "So, Lil Yachty got online defending Drake stating that the lyric in 'Circo Loco' was not about Megan, only to get on a track with some fat n***a and he brought up Megan." The person added, "I'd like to see how this plays out."

"Lil Yachty got something against Megan & idk what it is maybe that he realized she doesnt need him as a ghost writer or a sista," another opined. "this ain't the first time that weirdo got something with Megan in his s**t, it's getting old Megan needs to start clearing these losers frfr."
