AceShowbiz - Mauricio Umansky was pictured hanging out with fellow "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Lele Pons ahead of season 32 finale. In pictures circulating online, the "DWTS" alum and Lele were seen arriving at a trailer together.
The snaps featured the 53-year-old realtor trailing behind the 27-year-old YouTube star, who looked stunning for the special night in her glittering gold dance ensemble. As for Mauricio, he opted for a casual look in a white T-shirt and gray slacks. The two made his way through the ABC backlot as his eyes were on his cell phone.
The photos arrived amid rumors that Mauricio's dating Emma Slater, his partner for "Dancing with the Stars". The two sparked romance rumors after he was spotted holding hands with the professional dancer while leaving a Beverly Hills restaurant.
The alleged couple, however, previously shut down the rumors in a video shared on his Instagram Story on Thursday, October 26. "We do want to address this story, this whole thing that's going out and about, about whether Emma and I are dating," he said in the clip. "About whether we went out on a date. For full clarity, we are not dating."
After Emma chimed in, "We're not dating," Mauricio added, "We are really good friends." He went on to elaborate, "We've been dancing together for six weeks, four hours a day, every single day."
Lele also dismissed the speculations in a separate interview. "Clearly there's nothing in there," Lele said at the time. "Like, at all. Trust me. Have you seen my face? You would notice in my face if there were something."
She continued weighing in on, "I think it's 2023 and I think people love social media and they love to focus on stories that have nothing to do with them because it gives them something to do. It's like a sitcom nowadays, you know, on social media. So I think people can be entertained with whatever they want. But as for us, we're just here to dance and try to get better."
She then talked about how developing a bond with the dance partners was inevitable. "That's the thing. [Brandon Armstrong] has a wife, yes; and I have a husband, but if we didn't, we'd still want to hang out," Lele explained.
