AceShowbiz - Tory Lanez won't let his incarceration stop him from entertaining his fans. On Tuesday, November 14, the Canadian rapper unleashed a creepy music video for the Yoko Gold and Trippie Redd-assisted track, "Hurts Me".
The video begins with a man sharing a hug with a female medical worker inside a dark hospital room. The woman, however, suddenly feels threatened by the man so she throws liquid onto the man's face.
The woman tries to escape, but the man keeps chasing her until they get stuck in an empty warehouse. Once she gets caught, a mysterious man shows up, hitting the previous guy's back several times. She later buries him, thinking he's already dad, but once she leaves, the man's hand emerges from the ground.
"Do you not realize that it hurts me?/ When I see you go out, uh/ 'Cause you have the time of your life/ Only when you know I'm not around," Tory raps in the opening verse. "You know, you really don't deserve me/ Looking for you in the crowd/ To see you dancing again/ Out of mind, out of sight."
Tory promoted the track via Instagram back on June 18. "Two and a half years ago my brother Yoko and I orchestrated this record for his project, we never thought nothing of it," he wrote alongside an audio clip of the tune. "It collected dust in a hard drive. Guess God had a different plan for it."
"Never thought I'd say this but I wanna thank the Umbrellas for LEAKING this record," Tory further noted. "Yoko it's your time. Hold the Umbrella down while I'm gone."
Tory, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, eventually dropped the song on several streaming services. However, it was once removed from platforms like YouTube and Spotify without a particular reason.
