AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow's life remains "very full-on." The 51-year-old star has stepped back from acting in order to focus on various business projects in recent years, but Gwyneth admitted that her life is still "very intense."
The Oscar-winning star told PEOPLE, "I had the erroneous idea that I would be able to downshift a little bit. But life is very full-on. It's been very intense." Gwyneth recently launched good.clean.goop, a new line of skincare, body care and wellness products, and she admits that it's a time-consuming venture.
The Hollywood star shared, "We felt passionate about creating clean, efficacious products at a more accessible price for a broader audience. They call it 'masstige' in the industry. I love that word, between ‘mass’ and ‘prestige.’ So we set out to create this, and it’s been so much fun."
Gwyneth previously admitted that she achieved most of her acting ambitions before she turned 30. The movie star also confessed that she "doesn’t love acting that much."
The "Avengers: Endgame" actress told SiriusXM, "I think that when you hit the bullseye when you’re 26 years old, and you’re a metrics-driven person - who, frankly, doesn’t love acting that much, as it turns out ... I sort of felt like, well, now, who am I supposed to be? What am I driving towards?"
Gwyneth also revealed that she's simply too busy with her Goop brand to think about the movie business. The actress, who previously starred alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the "Iron Man" film franchise, told Entertainment Tonight, "It would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job. But, I guess, Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back. You know, to some degree."
