The 'I Need a Girl' hitmaker claims he has received a legal letter from Warner Bros. telling him not to dress up as the Joker again after his convincing portrayal of Batman's arch-nemesis in 2022.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has blasted Warner Bros. for allegedly ruining his Halloween by banning him from portraying the Joker again. The rapper has revealed that he received a legal letter from the studio telling him not to dress up as the character again after he turned into Batman's arch-nemesis last year.

Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, October 31, Diddy showed several papers that possibly contained the warning sent by WB to him. In the video, he said, "Breaking Halloween news: last year after I did the black Joker, I got a bunch of emails from the studio telling me to not be the Joker anymore, that I was breaching the trademark. So I don't know that I'm going to be this year."

The 53-year-old said that he conceded to Warner Bros. after the legal threat. "To the motherf**ker that took all this time... to tell me not to be the Joker, you win. I'm not going to be the Joker this year, just because your a** had enough time to f**k up my motherf**king Halloween," he claimed, before ominously adding, "Now watch me!" The video ended with "STAY TUNED."

Diddy previously revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that he got in trouble with the studio for his realistic costume as Batman's arch-nemesis during Halloween 2022. In a Monday episode of the talk show, he shared, "Last year I was the Joker, and I actually got a letter from the studio that I can no longer be the Joker because they said it broke their trademark that I did it too good, I swear."

Seemingly still planning to portray the Joker again despite the warning, he continued, "Tomorrow, Warner Brothers lawyers, can you see me? Put this camera on me right here. Head of legal, tomorrow, watch what I do."

Diddy indeed was so convincing in his portrayal of the Joker during last year's Halloween that he reportedly fooled a lot of people who didn't realize that it was the hip-hop mogul at the time. Joined by his gang of henchmen, Diddy's Joker was filmed taunting Michael J. Ferguson on the street. The "Power" star looked annoyed as Diddy called him a "p***y" and let out a menacing laugh before he revealed his true identity to the actor.
