AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion's legal battle with 1501 Certified Entertainment is finally over. Three years after going back and forth in court, the "Body" and the label "mutually reached a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences."
According to Billboard, the 28-year-old and 1501 will also "amicably part ways." 1501 said in a statement, "Both Megan and 1501 are pleased to put this matter behind them and move forward with the next chapter of their respective businesses."
Meanwhile, the label's president Carl Crawford added that he and his company "wish Megan the very best in her life and career." Specific terms of the deal have yet to be revealed.
The news arrived just days after Megan announced that she is currently without a label so is footing the bill herself for all of her upcoming projects. "I have no label right now. We're doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion pockets. So, the budget is coming from me. Motherf**ker hot girl productions. We in my pockets, hotties, so let's do our big one!" she said on Instagram Live.
