In the prologue for her latest re-recorded album, the 'Blank Space' songstress laments having her life constantly scrutinized over her relationships with both men and women.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has clapped back at those wild rumors about her sexuality. Having been living under the microscope for years due to her status as a worldwide star, the Grammy winner has finally put to rest the long-standing rumors that she secretly dated several of her close female friends.

In the prologue for her newly-released "1989 (Taylor's Version)" album, the pop superstar lamented having her life constantly scrutinized over her relationships with both men and women. After years of becoming a "target" of relentless "slut shaming" and enduring endless jokes about the "amount of boyfriends she had," the 33-year-old said that she was painted as a "boy crazy psychopath" and was "really starting to hurt."

"It became clear to me that for me there was no such thing as casual dating," she wrote. "Or even having a male friend who you platonically hang out with. If I was seen with him, it was assumed I was sleeping with him. And so I swore off hanging out with guys. Dating, flirting, or anything that could be weaponized against me by a culture that claimed to believe in liberating women but consistently treated me with the harsh moral codes of the Victorian era."

Taylor, who is now dating Travis Kelce, continued, "Being a consummate optimist, I assumed I could fix this if I simply changed my behavior. I swore off dating and decided to focus only on myself, my music, my growth, and my female friendships. If I only hung out with female friends, people couldn't sensationalize or sexualize that, right?" However, her decision backfired as she noted, "I would learn later on that people could and people would."

Taylor was once rumored to be in a secret lesbian romance with her former BFF Karlie Kloss. However, they appeared to have had a falling out in 2017 after Karlie was photographed with Kendall Jenner, whose older sister Kim Kardashian has clashed with Taylor for years over the reality TV star's then-husband Kanye West's controversial song "Famous".

In August this year, Karlie seemingly attempted to extend an olive branch by attending Taylor's final sold-out show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The "Anti-Hero" songstress, however, never made any public comment regarding her relationship with the model despite the latter's presence at the "Eras Tour" concert.
