AceShowbiz - The first look at season 13 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has apparently solved one of the biggest Bravo mysteries. Fans finally got the answer about the nature of Lina Rinna's departure from the reality TV series back in January.

Unveiled on Wednesday, October 18, the seven-minute first-look footage features Lisa's resignation letter. When Erika Jayne is seen arriving at a retreat hosted by her co-star Dorit Kemsley, she looks nervous as she addresses Lisa's absence.

"So I am walking in like a man on my own island. My friend is gone," she tells the others, referring to the "Days of Our Lives" alum's exit from the show. Lisa's resignation letter is later displayed on the screen.

Dated on September 10, 2022, the said letter was sent to Bravo's parent company, NBCUniversal. The "Melrose Place" actress wrote in the email, "I will not be renewing my contract and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa."

The big revelation debunks claims from fellow "RHOBH" alum Lisa Vanderpump, who suggested that the soap opera actress was fired following her feud with co-star Kathy Hilton. However, Bravo honcho Andy Cohen revealed that while Lisa Rinna did want to quit the show after filming season 12 reunion, he claimed that she "immediately regretted" her decision and withdrew her resignation.

Andy wrote in his book "The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up" that Bravo eventually made the decision that she "should go on pause" and "come back" in the future. Lisa's rep, however, shut down the claim in a statement.

"There was never any discussion with anyone about that concept," Lisa's rep insisted at the time. "Her contract ended, and the parties mutually agreed not to engage on a new one. She felt her time on the show had run its course and she was more than happy to move on. And she still does not regret it."
