AceShowbiz - Terrell Owens reportedly got into a verbal altercation during a recent pickup basketball game. The argument was allegedly bad enough that a mad whom he had been beefing with struck him with a car.
According to TMZ Sports, the incident took place on a court in the Calabasas area. Following the game, the man reportedly drove the vehicle right into the former wide receiver's knee. Luckily, law enforcement told the outlet that the footballer didn't need medical attention.
The incident is being investigated as an intentional act instead of as an accident. Sgt. Maria Navarro of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department informed Fox News Digital that the suspect would be charged with "assault with a deadly weapon" once apprehended.
This was not the first time Terrell got involved in an altercation. In November 2022, the athlete punched a man who harassed his fan outside of a CVS in Los Angeles.
The incident took place on November 26 around 11:30 P.M. at the pharmacy in Inglewood, California. Terrell told TMZ he intended to quickly stop by the store and grab a few necessities. While inside, he met a 49ers fan who approached him and they had a friendly conversation.
However, things took a turn when a second man started to trash-talk the fan Terrell was conversing with. Witnesses say the man threatened to beat up the wide receiver and the fan outside.
The group eventually made their way outside to the sidewalk in front of the store. Terrell was reportedly trying to keep the peace between everyone until the man allegedly swung at him. That's when the footballer allegedly fought back. He threw punches that landed on the man's body and face, knocking him down.
