AceShowbiz - There seems to be trouble in paradise between Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello. Fans noticed that something was off in Joe's birthday shout-out for the actress that many deemed "dry."
Making use of his Instagram account, Joe posted a blurry picture of him and the "America's Got Talent" judge, who turned 51 on Monday, July 10. "¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleanos Sofia!!!" the 46-year-old hunk simply wrote in the caption alongside the photo of them sharing a hug while celebrating a birthday.
While it's a sweet gesture, fans apparently think that the "Magic Mike" actor could do better with the birthday tribute. "Am I the only one who doesn't like the way it sounds? ' Sofia'…. not even ' My love, My beloved wife' ….," commented one fan. Echoing the sentiment, one other said, "What a cold greeting, not a drop of love expressed by Joe Manganiello."
"Joe, I hope you guys are ok, that was a very different(cold) happy birthday wish to your wife, compare to previous ones!" one person said. Another person wrote, "Something is off. Cold message for her and has two stories about his dog's birthday. And sofia has not even said thank you."
Someone also pointed out that the snap that the "True Blood" actor posted to celebrate his wife's birthday was actually from Joe's birthday celebration in December 2021. That apparently meant that the couple didn't celebrate Sofia's milestone together.
As for Sofia, the Columbian star has been busy living her best life with her pals in Italy. "So lucky to have my best friends in my favorite restaurant in my favorite island!!! I love u @cb0728 @alejandroasen," the "Modern Family" alum captioned a carousel of snaps of her with her girlfriends at dinner in Capri on Monday.
Her post's comments section was also flooded with fans asking her about her husband's apparent absence from her trip. "And the hubby??? You don't see [him] celebrating," one asked. Another asked, "And Joe?"
