The 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO defends himself and his label after the 'Buss It' raptress spoke up against them in a since-deleted snippet from her unreleased song.

AceShowbiz - Carl Crawford has defended himself and 1501 Certified Entertainment from Erica Banks' allegation. After the "Buss It" raptress accused the label of being "greedy," Carl declared that he doesn't owe her anything because she's not even making money for him.

The 41-year-old fired back at his artist through videos shared on Instagram. "Erica not even making no money for me to take," he said, before claiming that Erica is coming at him due to his ongoing drama with Megan Thee Stallion.

"This is a good time to try to press the issue," the former professional baseball left fielder stated. "You think everybody will believe you because you know I'm going through this with Megan."

Online users, however, believed that accusations from the two femcees can't be purely coincidental. "He's clearly a bad business man," one person argued, while another noted, "everyone can't be lying. Stop the gas lighting."

Erica revealed that she had cut ties with 1501 after sharing a new snippet from an unreleased song. In one of the recordings, she could be heard spitting the lyrics that sounded, "Give a f**k about that label they see me. And they owe me some money, they greedy."

Along with the snippets, the "Give Me That" artist wrote in the caption of the post, "LOADING." She went on to ask her devotees, "Which vibe y'all like best 1-4? Also, who y'all wanna hear on the tape?" She, however, has deleted the post.

In the comments section of the post, one of Erica's supporters gave her a suggestion through a comment that read, "I just think she need a new label !! 1501 dont know what they doing !! The girl hard 1501 for tik tok kids lord hope she drop them bet she come up more." Erica did not take long to respond to the comment by revealing, "I'm not with them anymore."
