AceShowbiz - Internet trolls apparently got the best of Meek Mill. Fans have noticed that the Philadelphia native deactivated his Twitter account after he became the butt of the joke over a picture of him being wasted in his bathroom.
His account is no longer available on the blue bird app. "This account doesn't exist," read the notice on the 36-year-old hip-hop star's profile on Thursday, July 6.
Meek's decision to delete his account came after he took to Instagram Stories to share that he got sick after a night of drinking. In the snap, the "Flamerz 5" MC appeared to crawl in front of the toilet following Michael Rubin's star-stacked Fourth of July party in the Hamptons on Monday, July 3. "Too much liquor SMH," so he wrote over the image.
After posting the photo, Internet users quickly trolled the rapper. "I gotta keep reminding myself he made dreamchasers 3," one user tweeted. Echoing the sentiment, one other said, "I've said it before and I'll say it again. Meek Mill would be top 5 rapper ever if he never had social media."
"Meek mill's brain needs to be studied," another joked. Meanwhile, someone else wrote, "Meek the only person to get CTE from being a rapper."
Prior to deactivating his account, Meek reportedly wrote, "We have so much influence they trying to use Small internet campaigns to sway the peoples perception of artists. We are basically our own media bases now and we can say what we want at will in front of millions and they don't feel that."
He added, "Anything I post they try to amplify it and make me look stupid. I wasn't created on the internet and I know they got some of y'all in a trans threw social perception. That's why content creators win because lead the narrative."
