The 'Karma' singer has racked up over $3,000 in fines from 2018 until 2023 for failing to keep the sidewalks in front of her luxurious townhouse in Tribeca clean.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift may need to leave her residence in good hands while she's busy with work. Owning several properties across the U.S., the country-turned-pop superstar has got some bad blood with the New York sanitation department after multiple issues regarding trash outside her home.

The 12-time Grammy winner is unveiled to have been ticketed 32 times between January 2018 and January 2023 for failing to keep the sidewalks in front of her luxurious townhouse in Tribeca clean. The trash left outside her building has included newspapers, bottles, cardboard, napkins, wrappers and even cigarette butts.

The fines have amounted to a total of $3,010, although some have been disputed and reversed on appeal. The "Shake It Off" hitmaker and her legal team managed to dismiss $200 in penalties.

Taylor purchased the three-story townhouse at 153 Franklin St. in Tribeca in October 2017. David Aldea, who used to be the singer/songwriter's landlord, claimed he was surprised at the news since she was a great tenant. "She was nothing but a perfect tenant the entire time and lovely to deal with," said the former Soho House executive. "I have nothing but positive things to say about her."

Taylor's neighbor, meanwhile, wasn't pleased with the piling garbage outside her luxury condominium. "She doesn't care about leaving trash out," a 22-year-old dog walker told The Post. "I think she's more focused on her multi-million dollar tour that's bankrupting all her fans."

Taylor's fans have since come to her defense, with many arguing that she should not be solely blamed for the trash outside her home. "It's probably the fans waiting for her and smoking while they're bored. She doesn't even smoke!" someone argued.

A fellow Tribeca resident thinks that Taylor might be targeted. "I'm not sure if [city inspectors] are doing it to everyone or if she's being targeted," Rebecca Heller, 44, mused. "I live on White Street, and there are other people who deserve [being ticketed] more. And they're clearly not changing their behavior."

Regardless, Taylor is the only one responsible to keep the area around her property clean.
