AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle was seen in first public appearance after her and husband Prince Harry's $20 million podcast deal with Spotify collapsed. The Duchess of Sussex appeared to be in low spirits while heading to a salon appointment in Santa Barbara, California on Friday, June 16.

In some pictures obtained by Daily Mail, Meghan was seemingly engaged in an intense conversation at the time. At one point, the "Suits" alum took her headphones out and walked beside a member of her security detail while looking at her phone frequently.

For the outing, Meghan opted to go makeup-free. She dressed in a black long-sleeved top that was tucked into dark wash jeans. She paired the look with a blue-and-white striped sweater which she wore over the shirt. Completing her style, the mom of two wire black ballet flats, a black Fendi handbag and several gold bracelets.

In other news related to the Sussexes, it was said that insiders believed that Netflix could be the next company to end its deal with the couple following Spotify. The insiders noted that after releasing their docuseries "Harry & Meghan" back in 2022 as a part of the $80 million deal with Netflix, the couple's next projects were "Live to Lead" series which they narrated and Harry's upcoming Invictus Games documentary.

Meghan's animated children's series "Pearl" got axed before its first season back in May 2022. It was also reported that Meghan was upset they didn't reach out to her to participate in the "Queen Cleopatra" show.

An insider additionally claimed that the Sussexes have a strained relationship with the streaming giant. "The relationship hasn't always been great. Harry is no problem, but Meghan thinks she knows how to run Hollywood," the insider told Daily Mail.

Netflix allegedly was upset because Harry and Meghan talked to Oprah Winfrey before Netflix about the bombshell. "There were some unhappy executives who felt Netflix should have been given the first bite of the cherry," said the insider.

However, it's not all bad news for Meghan. The 41-year-old is reportedly on the verge of signing a massive deal with Dior. "There have been rumors for weeks that she's about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive. If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season," Caroline Graham of the Daily Mail claimed.

Sources told the news outlet that the famed French couture house wants Meghan to be the "face" of the company like Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp and Jennifer Lawrence. While there's no word on how much their deal will be, JLaw signed a $15 million deal with Dior. As for Johnny, the actor's deal with the brand was $20 million.
