AceShowbiz - Bill Cosby's legal trouble has yet to be over. "The Cosby Show" star has been hit with a new lawsuit filed by a former Playboy model, who accused the actor of drugging and sexually assaulting her at his home in 1969.
Victoria Valentino, 80, submitted the lawsuit to Los Angeles County Superior Court. In the docs, she said she was drugged and raped by the disgraced actor after they met at a Los Angeles restaurant.
Valentino claimed Cosby approached her after he saw her crying over the death of her 6-year-old son. The comedian then allegedly invited her and one of her friends to go for a spa treatment where he gave them pills. "Here! Take this! It will make you feel better. It will make us all feel better," the plaintiff quoted as Cosby saying.
Cosby later drove the two women back to his home and Valentino passed out on a coach. Once she woke up, she saw Cosby assaulting her friend before he "engaged in forced sexual intercourse" with her. The plaintiff said she was unable to resist due to the effects of the drugs.
Cosby, who has previously faced other sexual assault cases, has reacted to the allegations. His spokesperson Andrew Wyatt declared, "Victoria Valentino has skirted from town to town promoting her alleged allegations against Mr. Cosby to anyone that would give her platform, without any proof or facts."
"It's unfortunate that media has not vetted the inconsistencies in her many statements. What graveyard can Mr. Cosby visit, in order to dig up potential witnesses to testify on his behalf?" the spokesperson added. "America is continuing to see that this a formula to make sure that no more Black Men in America accumulate the American Dream that was secured by Mr. Cosby."
