AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has set the Internet into a frenzy after announcing her collaboration with Ice Spice. The Grammy-winning singer revealed that she'll release "Karma" ft. the raptress soon and fans have since gone wild upon hearing the announcement.
Posting the cover art on Instagram, the 33-year-old declared, "Um. SO much to tell you. I'm a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch." The songwriter continued, "So delighted to say that Karma Featuring the incredible @icespice will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album that you can pre-order now at store.taylorswift.com!"
Taylor went on to reveal that she's also working with Lana Del Rey for new music. "In addition to Karma Ft Ice Spice… You asked for it, we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on Snow on the Beach. Love u @honeymoon," she noted.
"But wait there's more… for those of you going to the East Rutherford shows - we will have a new special edition CD available ONLY on site starting at 12:30pm ET on Friday!" the musician further stated. "This CD will have a never before heard Midnights vault track called 'You're Losing Me'!"
Fans were left in disbelief upon hearing the exciting news. One person in particular gushed on Twitter, "Unexpected collaboration but I am here for it." Another said, "I'm shook," while a third stated, "I thought they are rumorsssss."
Rumors of Taylor and Ice Spice's collaboration emerged in early May. Music executive Shawn Barron, who serves as president of EZMNY Records, revealed the news when talking about the femcee's sudden rise of fame. "She has an accumulation of moments in a short amount of time, and we're seeing the response," he said during an episode of the "One More Time Podcast", according to XXL. He added, "I heard that she's on Taylor Swift's next single or something like that."
