Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex thankfully gets home in time for Archie's birthday as he rushed to go back to the U.S. after attending his father's coronation in London on Saturday, May 6.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle was chanelling her energy to hiking as she skipped King Charles' coronation on May 6. Over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted hiking with some of her friends in California as her husband Prince Harry flew to London to attend the big event.

According to Page Six, Meghan had a peaceful 40-minute hike from her and Prince Harry’s $15 million dollar home Sunday morning, May 8. While she was joined by longtime pals Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak, the "Suits" alum's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were nowhere to be seen during the outdoor adventure.

For the outing, Meghan looked casual in a navy blue loose-fitted top, brown hiking shoes and activewear bottoms, with a forest green jacket tied around her waist. The former actress appeared to try to stay incognito as she wore large-frame sunglasses, a scarf and a Panama hat.

Meanwhile, Harry thankfully got home in time for Archie's birthday as he rushed to go back to the U.S. after attending his father's coronation. According to Sky News, the Duke of Sussex landed back in Los Angeles at 7:30 P.M. local time on Saturday evening.

The royal, who used commercial flights for his trip, spent only 28 hours and 42 minutes in the U.K. After arriving on Friday, the younger brother of Prince William headed back to the Heathrow airport as he was seen getting in a car less than 20 minutes after the coronation service ended.

In other news, it seemed like the Sussexes' friend shaded the British royals in a birthday post for Archie. Prince Harry and Meghan's pal Misan Harriman took to his social media account to wish Archie a happy birthday as he turned 4 on Saturday, the same day when his grandfather King Charles was officially crowned as King.

In an Instagram post, Misan posted a screenshot of baby Archie touching a photo of his late grandmother, Princess Diana. Captioning the picture, which was from Meghan and Harry's Netflix show "Harry & Meghan", Misan wrote, "Wishing you the happiest of birthdays Archie."

Many believed that the post served as a subtle diss at the royals as King Charles and Princess Diana ended their marriage in 1996 amid the monarch's affair with now-wife Queen Camilla. Many royalists remembered the late princess, who died in a car accident in 1997, on Saturday as she would have been crowned queen.
