AceShowbiz - Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy a.k.a. YoungBoy Never Broke Again are seemingly not on good terms just yet. The "Laugh Now or Cry Later" hitmaker and his nemesis appeared to dispute DJ Akademiks' claim about their squashed beef.
For the record, Akademiks declared on May 3, "That beef is squashed. You ain't hear?" The "Off the Record" podcast continued to tell his viewers. "I'm serious. Durk and YoungBoy don't have beef no more."
Durkio initially low-key confirmed the reports. He liked a tweet from a YoungBoy fan account sharing the news which was accompanied with a caption that read, "DJ Akademiks said NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk has Officially Squashed their Beef!!"
Meanwhile, the YB Instagram "fan account," which is long suspected to actually be run by the Baton Rogue native on account of its over 1 million followers, also shared the news for the world to see.
However, just hours later, Durkio penned on Instagram Story, "I ain't friends with no n***as [unamused face emoji] stop it." He also unliked the said tweet and added in the since-deleted post, "F**k you [and] who you came with."
As for YoungBoy, he called out Akademiks on his own Twitter page. "Ak you a b***h along with his industry friends I love this s**t it turn out the same way every time," he argued. "Ak a fat h*e."
Akademiks himself also backtracked on his previous remarks. "Lol I ain't say that," he wrote on Instagram. "I mean they ain't actively dissing each other no more in music and tweets anything y'all see is more than likely directed at other ppl instead of each other."
