AceShowbiz - 50 Cent uses the reconciliation rumors between Nelly and Ashanti to troll his foe Irv Gotti. On Monday, April 24, Fiddy took to his Instagram account to mock Gotti after Nelly and Ashanty sparked romance rumors with their flirtatious reunion onstage in Las Vegas.
50 Cent reposted a video of the pair's performance with "Man somebody check on Irv Gotti ASAP! Know he going through it right now" was written on it. "HE WILL BE AIGHT," the "Power" creator/actor wrote in the caption. "I was in love wit her, and she just popped up with Nelly. LOL."
His post drew some responses from his followers, including fellow hip-hop musician DaBaby. The rapper wrote in the comments section, telling the "In Da Club" rapper to "chill bruh." A fan added, "50 the defending champion of been petty."
Another fan commented, "This is why I follow you cause I be needing these laughs through the day." Amused, one person said, "this man sense of humor is out of this world."
In addition to the flirtatious performance, Nelly and Ashanti were spotted attending a boxing match between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. The pair, who were dating for more than a decade before calling it quits in 2015, even walked hand-in-hand when leaving the Saturday, April 22 event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Prior to this, Gotti shared on "Drink Champs" that he was in a relationship with Ashanti in the early 2000s. The music producer added that he then found out that she was dating the "Hot In Here" MC when he saw them together at a basketball game.
Ashanti, however, denied the claims. "We dealt with each other, but was Irv my boyfriend? Was I his girlfriend? Never. Irv had several girlfriends, so I'm a little confused by the label and the description," she said during an interview with Angie Martinez on the "IRL" podcast.
