The representative for former host of 'The Wendy Williams Show' confirms that she is back on filming, but it won't be a reality TV show despite recent reports.

AceShowbiz - New details of Wendy Williams' impending comeback are here. The former host of "The Wendy Williams Show" has been confirmed that she is back on filming, but it won't be a reality TV show despite recent reports.

In response to Wendy being seen filming an unknown project in New York City, Shawn Zanotti, the representative for the star, told Page Six on Friday, April 14 that "it is definitely not a reality show." The rep continued, "After taking a long break, Wendy feels some of the best days of her life were in media."

She went on saying, "She has been in media since her early 20's and wants to return to what she loves. Getting back to what she loves is something that is important to her. Yes, Wendy is filming…Yes, she is gearing up for something and the specifics of that can't be disclosed as of yet."

The clarification arrived after Wendy's brother Tommy spoke against the idea of his sister appearing on a reality show while she's on the mend following a series of health issues. In a recent interview, Tommy confirmed that Wendy flew to Florida to film with him and other family members over the weekend.

Describing his sister host as "sad," he noted, "This is not a woman who is in the right frame of mind to get a show going." He then blasted the film crew as saying, "Why are you even here? Do you see the condition she's in? Does it look like she's ready to start a podcast for goodness sake? It doesn't. And we are all going to bear witness to this."

Referring to the former daytime talk show queen's manager Will Selby, Tommy continued, "This guy Will is ponying Wendy around- 'travel here, travel there, let's go make this money, and I don't care if you're making sense because everybody knows who you are.' "

"And the shock value is going to be where she was and where she is now?" Tommy questioned. "Is that going to be the show? Is that it? Is that what my dad has to look forward to watching? To shove our face in the f**king manure?"

Noting that he didn't put the blame on Wendy, Tommy, who said that his sister is in "poor health," added, "Whatever they do with it, they're gonna do. It's gonna be sad." Tommy additionally claimed that Wendy's manager did not introduce himself or speak to him or their father while they filmed.

Previous reports revealed that Wendy has been filming her new reality show at her childhood home in New Jersey. According to sources, the TV personality, who grew up in Ashbury Park, New Jersey, has been traveling the country to gather footage for the series, which is scheduled to launch this fall.
