As of press time, the "Umbrella" hitmaker holds the record with 108,279,849 followers, with just over 20,000 followers separating her from the "Firework" hitmaker. The "American Idol" judge currently has 108,254,698 followers.

Rihanna is currently the fourth most followed person on Twitter. She trails behind Justin Bieber, who holds the third place with 113,171,252 followers. Former U.S. President Barack Obama places second with 132,941,739 followers. Elon Musk, who became the owner of the social media platform in October 2022, holds the top spot with 134,341,896 followers.

Further down the list, Taylor Swift places seventh with more than 92 million followers, while Lady GaGa rounds out the top 10 at No. 10 with just under 85 million.

Rihanna, who became a first-time mom in May 2022, has been using her social media accounts to share photos of her son. On Tuesday, April 11, she treated her followers both on Twitter and Instagram to new adorable photos of her son's first Easter.

In some of the snaps, the ten-month-old boy looked cute while sporting bunny ears. Other images featured the infant going shirtless while wearing nothing but a diaper and a bejeweled necklace while sitting on the grass with colorful eggs and bunny toys spread around him. "Eastuh!!!" the proud mom captioned the photos. She also gushed over her boy, "Look at heeeeee!!!! "

Rihanna shares her son, whose name is yet to be revealed to the public, with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, whom she has been dating since 2021. In February, during her Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance, she revealed that she's pregnant with their second child.
