While she denies speculation that she and her boyfriend have planned to start a family, the TLC singer doesn't rule out any possibility that she will someday be a wife.

AceShowbiz - Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas keeps her hopes high that she will someday walk down the aisle. The singer, who has been dating Matthew Lawrence, wants to get married and she isn't afraid to admit it.

Chilli revealed her desire to get hitched when met at LAX on Thursday, March 30. When asked about her boyfriend's comments about having a child with her, she clarified that the actor didn't say they planned to start a family.

"What he said was taken out of context," the TLC member told a paparazzo in a video obtained by TMZ. She added, "But we've already cleared that up."

When pressed whether they're not planning at all, Chilli got coy and replied, "I'm just saying that's not what he said." She, however, was more straightforward when asked, "Do you think you'll get married?" saying, "I hope so."

In an interview with E! News three days before, Chilli responded to Matthew's comments about having a child with her. "First of all, we're not currently trying to have a child," she said when attending the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards. "We're not married yet so we're just very happy and growing in our relationship."

She then gushed that her current relationship is unlike her previous ones. "I've dated, but this cancelled out everything," she shared before looking at her longtime friend Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. "She knows."

T-Boz later gave her seal of approval of Chilli's new man. "Matthew's a special one," she explained. "I know my sister so he's special. Trust! Matthew, you better know."

Matthew made the baby comments in an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. When asked about whether he saw kids in the picture, he responded, "That's the game plan. That's what we're trying to do."

He added, "My life is in complete bloom right now. I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli. I've never gotten to be able to experience that kind of relationship before. She's really, really special."

However, the "Boy Meets World" alum later clarified that he wasn't putting pressure on his girlfriend. "It's such an interesting story," he explained to E! News. "[Joey Lawrence] and I were commiserating about this plan that we had to have children together...when we were growing up."

"And I missed the first go around and now he's starting a new family and I was thinking, 'Man, it'd be great if we could do it again, when I didn't have the chance to raise a family together,' " he continued. "So that's what I meant by that. I didn't mean to put any pressure on somebody I was dating or anything."
